If you haven't visited Tropic Star Lodge, it should definitley be number one on your bucket list.
The destination is located 150 miles southeast of Panama City, in the Darien Jungle. Getting there is an experience in itself. With the reef only 20 minutes away, anglers are able to spend more time fishing for black marlin, blue marlin, sailfish, doardo, roosterfish and Cubera snapper - to name a few of the glorified species known to its Pacific waters.
“You can catch a black marlin every day of the year,” Richard White, fishing director and manager at Tropic Star, told Angler's Journal Magazine in their trip and review of Tropic Star.
