Richard Bertram Inducted into NMMA Hall of Fame




October 8, 2008- The legendary founder of Bertram Yacht, Richard Bertram was inducted into the NMMA Hall of Fame recently where, on his behalf, Bertram Yacht’s COO/President Michael Myers was on hand to receive the National Marine Manufacturers Association’s (NMMA) highest honor during the 18th International Boat Builder’s Exposition & Conference (IBEX) Industry Breakfast at the Miami Beach Convention Center on October 8th, 2008. 

 

The NMMA Hall of Fame recognized Richard Bertram for his long career achievements and for continuing to generate lasting contributions towards the advancement of the marine industry.  This award honors those individuals who epitomize the pursuit of quality, innovation and perfection within the boat building industry.  Today, Bertram Yacht continues to meet the highest quality standards, in the yacht building industry for the strong foundation, which Richard Bertram laid nearly 50 years ago.  Due to the company’s constant motivation to remain a leader in the marine industry, Richard Bertram’s legacy is a driving force behind the very individuals who build and represent Bertram Yacht today.
