1970s

1971 – The 1000th Bertram is built.

1972 – Bertram 46 convertible and Bertram 42 are introduced. Bertram factory is expanded for the second time in ten years.

1975 – Bertram 58 convertible is introduced and a 42 convertible is added to the line.

1976 – Bertram 33 adds convertible and sport fisherman versions.

1977 – Bertram 58 convertible becomes the first production model with an aluminum superstructure.

1978 – The 38 convertible is reintroduced in a new configuration.

1979 – Bertram reintroduces the 33 convertible and the 33 fly bridge cruiser.
